Advisory: Rise in H1N1 infections in children
GeneralWith a recent temperature dip in Delhi's cold weather, there is a surge in cases of H1N1 infection, a subtype of the highly contagious Influenza A virus. In 2009, WHO declared H1N1 as a pandemic causing 284400 deaths. In 2010, H1N1 became a seasonal flu strain. People with comorbidities, kids, and elderly are more prone to Influenza effects.
