Here’s all you need to know about AIDS
GeneralAIDS, caused by HIV, is a fatal infection transmitted through sexual intercourse, sharing needles, blood transfusions, mother-to-child during childbirth or breastfeeding, tattoo exposure, or men having sex with men. Casual contact does not transmit the virus. Prevention includes safe sex practices, early detection, PrEP for high-risk individuals, avoiding needle sharing, safe blood screening, antiretroviral drugs for pregnant women, community awareness campaigns, anti-discrimination laws, and government initiatives like UNAIDS.
