Recurrent UTIs and the potential health risks associated with it
GeneralUrinary tract infection (UTI) is a bacterial infection that affects the urinary system, including the bladder (cystitis). Common symptoms include frequent urination, burning sensation, pain, blood in urine, and changes in urine color and smell. Recurrent UTIs are more common in women. In rare cases, untreated or recurring UTIs can ascend to the kidneys.
