Daily consumption of dark tea, distinct from black tea, may lower the risk of diabetes, according to research from the University of Adelaide and Southeast University. Dark tea, such as Pu-erh, showed a 53% reduced prediabetes risk and 47% reduced type 2 diabetes risk in daily consumers. This tea improves insulin resistance and increases glucose excretion, mitigating diabetes risk.
