Viral hepatitis is predicted to become a more deadly disease than Malaria, Tuberculosis, and HIV combined by 2040 if current trends continue. The World Health Organization (WHO) has launched a campaign called 'One Life, One Liver' to enhance testing and treatment for hepatitis, which causes liver damage and cancer. Hepatitis B and C are the main viruses responsible for liver disease and death. Despite the availability of effective antiviral drugs, testing remains inadequate, with only a small percentage of infected individuals receiving diagnosis and treatment.
